Curls/waves in moldable/heat-resistant synthetic hair

It is recommended to use professional heat styling devices with digital temperature display to control the temperature.

  • Comb the hair gently but carefully with a wide-toothed comb.
  • Heat the curling iron to 130 to 140° C.
  • Separate a section of hair about 2.5 to 4 cm wide (narrow sections = smaller curls, wide sections = larger curls).
  • To protect the fiber, spray Jon Renau Heat Treat Thermal Spray onto the strand (spray 1 to 2 times per strand).
  • Place the strand of hair on the curling iron and wrap it around the curling iron from the ends of the hair to just before the hairline. Make sure that the ends of the hair lie flat.
  • Leave the strand on the curling iron for 10 to 15 seconds. Then, point the tip of the curling iron toward the floor and let the curled strand slide into your palm.
  • Hold the curled strand with one hand. With the other hand, pin it to the top of your hairline with a small metal clip.
  • Allow the curled strand to cool completely (about 5 to 10 minutes). Then remove the clip and let the curled strand hang down naturally.
  • Of course, you can also comb your hair to loosen the curls a bit. The best way to do this is with your fingers.
